In what is a milestone day for the Property Investors Council of Australia, the Chair, Ben Kingsley, met with the Assistant Minister for Treasury and Finance, Senator Zed Seselja.

The meeting discussed taxation policy regarding negative gearing and capital gains tax in the lead up to the upcoming Federal election. Both the Assistant Minister and PICA Chair agreed to keep the dialogue open in regards to the best outcome for property owners and investors.

Further meetings and catchups are planned for the coming months and we look forward to continuing the dialogue, not only with the Federal Government but also opening up channels of dialogue with our State Government representatives.
